This is a general approval issued by the Treasurer, pursuant to section 6.23(1) of the Government Sector Finance Act 2018. This provides the legislative approval for all GSF agencies to enter into operating or finance lease arrangements. Becoming a lessee under an operating or finance lease arrangement is prescribed as a borrowing in clause 8(d) of the Government Sector Finance Regulation 2018.
