If you’re considering a role with Treasury, we are committed to welcoming you to the team, expanding your learning, growing your capability, boosting your wellbeing and developing your career.

Getting you onboard

To give you the best start, your onboarding experience is about getting you settled in and giving you everything you need from your letter of offer to your first day of work and beyond.

From day one you will have access to our New Starter Resource Hub. It has all the information you need to get you started successfully. You and your leader will work closely through the first weeks across a range of activities and resources to set you up for success.

Developing you and your career

We are committed to growing and developing our people and believe that learning should never stop. You will work with your leader on a development plan that will support you to achieve your career goals.

We provide a wide variety of development options to further develop skills and build experience through self-guided learning, acting in higher-grade positions, mentoring, coaching, on-the-job learning and secondment opportunities.

Our Learning at Treasury program gives access to a broad range of courses that will expand your knowledge, introduce you to new ideas and help you achieve your performance and career goals. From courses on brief writing to project management fundamentals and Leading with Impact, there is a course suitable for everyone, no matter where you are in your career.

Developing our leaders

Our Leading at Treasury curriculum has leadership programs and workshops to improve the capabilities at every stage of your career – from current to aspiring leaders. Through a mix of self-paced, online learning, in-person workshops and formal programs, you will learn how to lead, influence and engage others.

Listening to you

We listen to our employees regularly and commit to actions supporting our ongoing journey of making Treasury a great place to work. From our annual engagement survey to regular pulse surveys, we work with teams on group and whole of organisation initiatives to improve and grow the employee experience.

Focusing on your wellbeing

We know that improving wellbeing cannot just happen outside of work hours. That is why we are committed to providing a healthy workplace, both mentally and physically, that allows our people to bring their entire selves to work. Our goal is to positively impact the wellbeing of our people.

Our Wellbeing at Treasury curriculum offers regular seminars. From opportunities to connect with colleagues to boost social connections, to seminars on creating better financial health and managing stress for mental wellbeing. We are always looking for ways to help you be your best at work and at home.

Our One Thrive wellbeing hub provides reliable resources and opportunities for you to hear from your fellow Treasury colleagues about how they look after their wellbeing.
