
The Commission of Audit - Interim Report examines public sector management in NSW. This interim report will be followed by a final report which will look at expenditure across the sector and specific areas of interest to the Government.

On 14 December 2011 Fitch upgraded their credit rating for New South Wales from double-A plus to triple-A (Fitch announcement).
Moody’s reaffirmed their triple-A rating for New South Wales on 9 March 2011, and Standard & Poor’s reaffirmed the State’s triple-A rating on 18 October 2011 (S&P announcement). All three ratings are with a stable outlook.
