The 2024-25 Budget will be delivered by the Treasurer, the Hon Daniel Mookhey MLC, in June 2024. This webpage provides guidance to organisations (such as businesses, non‑government organisations or interest groups) and individuals who wish to provide pre‑Budget submissions as part of the Budget process.

When preparing submissions, please consider the Government’s commitment to rebuilding essential services, supporting families with cost-of-living pressures, and budget repair.
Submissions will be accepted until 5PM Friday, 8 March 2024 to allow the Government time to consider them during Budget preparations.

What happens when you lodge a submission
Though you will not receive an individual response from NSW Treasury, your submission will be forwarded to the relevant Minister and agencies. The closing date of 5PM Friday, 8 March 2024 has been designed to allow consideration of submitted proposals in the lead-up to the 2024-25 Budget.
