This website has been developed by the New South Wales Government to provide information related to privately financed projects (PFPs) and major infrastructure development in NSW, Australia.

State Infrastructure Strategy

The State Infrastructure Strategy (SIS) (2008) is available to view or download on the NSW Treasury web site.

WWG Guidelines for Privately Financed Projects

The WWG Guidelines for Privately Financed Projects (updated in December 2006) are available to view or download in Acrobat PDF format. 

• The NSW Government has also developed an Intellectual Property Guideline for Unsolicited Private Sector Proposals submitted under Working with Government.
• A new document, Risk Allocation and Commercial Principles, is now available to view or download in Acrobat PDF format. The Principles summarise the State’s preferred position to be adopted in PFP contracts for social infrastructure projects (eg schools and hospitals).
• A Technical Paper on Discount Rates describes the approach in determining discount rates for the evaluation of private financing proposals.
