HOW TO FIND APPROPRIATE ELECTORATES

No changes in electorates has taken place since the 2007-08 Budget. Projects in CAPTOES system are assigned to appropriate electorates via the location they are in. It has a list of current town, electorates and possible town-electorate name combinations.

Please note that at the Budget time, a copy of the last year budget data is copied in to CAPTOES and last years location and electorate splits are “rolled forward”. In most cases project location is fixed (eg a hospital or a school project), project location and the electorate does not change. However for projects such as power/sewerage line or road, project location and/or electorate may change as a project progresses from one area to the next.
