HOW TO FIND APPROPRIATE ELECTORATES

No changes in electorates has taken place since the 2007-08 Budget. Projects in CAPTOES system are assigned to appropriate electorates via the location they are in. It has a list of current town, electorates and possible town-electorate name combinations.

Please note that at the Budget time, a copy of the last year budget data is copied in to CAPTOES and last years location and electorate splits are “rolled forward”. In most cases where project location is fixed (eg a hospital or a school project), project location and the electorate does not change for that project from year to year. However for projects such as power/sewerage line or road, project location and/or electorate may change as a project progresses from one area to the next.
