1999-2000 New South Wales Budget Papers

- Budget Speech.
Sets out the Government's budgetary strategy and financial plans.
- Budget Statement.
This Budget Paper presents detailed information both on the Budget itself (ie for the General Government Sector) and on State finances more generally. Analysis focuses primarily on the accrual results but is provided both on an accrual and cash basis.
- Budget Estimates.
The Budget Estimates contain detailed revenue and expense information on an agency, program and portfolio basis. Information is provided on the net cost of providing services for each agency’s programs.
- State Asset Acquisition Program.
Provides a summary of the General Government Sector and Public Trading Enterprise Sector Asset Acquisition Programs for 1999-2000. Information is provided on an accrual basis.
- Appropriation Bills.
The three Bills presented to Parliament - a Special Offices Bill to provide funding for the Ombudsman's Office, State Electoral Office, Independent Commission Against Corruption, and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions; a Bill to provide funding for the Parliament; and a general Appropriation Bill covering the remaining General Government Sector agencies. These bills are available from the Bills List on the NSW Parliament Web Site.
